National Teaching Award Nominee
William Frazier
Promise Jr.-Sr. High School, LaPorte, Indiana
Student Nomination Story
Mr. Frazier helps me with my Algebra 2. Sometimes Algebra 2 is very hard but I try not to get worked up over something I just ask him for help instead.

I pick Fraizer because he has helped me with my hardest subject with math and getting the hang of new math. I can't understand. Also, he is very funny and easy to get along with. He actually works problems out with you if you don't understand.

Mr. Frazier helps me in a lot of ways. I started out hating math then he showed me you can't knock something until you try it. He helped me actually to enjoy it and now I have 6 math credits and every time I try to give up he says "no you can do it." I like him as a person. He's cool, funny and positive.
A. Davis
Frazier is one of my favorites. He helps me with anything I need help on. He is always there for me when I need someone to talk to. When I ask for help, he doesn't just tell me the answer. He actually explains to me what to do and how to do it. He shows me the best resources that could help me most. He always encourages me to do better and he's always saying , "You can do it! I believe in you!" That's all I really need is someone to believe in me and to tell me daily that I can do it just to believe in myself!
LaPorte Student
I nominate my math teacher, William Earl Frazier, for this award. He is helpful, kind, compassionate, a good teacher, and he takes his job seriously. I go to Mr. Frazier for all of my problem in math and in life. He never goes off on us and is really patient. He only focuses on the kid he's helping so that the kid can get the help they need.
