Student Nomination Story

I knew Mrs. Jones since she was an intern in my 10th grade year she was in my Science class and History class. And Mrs.Jones is always there for anyone she has helped me so much. I had Mrs. Jones last year in my 11th Grade year it was her first year being an Official at Florence High School. In my 11th grade year. My momma had so many surgeries and Mrs.Jones always keep a smile on my face doesn't matter what mood I am in. March 1st my house burnt and I was in Walmart when I found out so I texted Mrs.Jones and told her what happen, she told me and let me know if you need anything, sweet girl? I'm so sorry about your pups. Mrs. Jones really did change my life I'm gonna go to college this fall to become a Special Education Teacher just like her someday. She helped me more than anyone can. In my 12th-grade year I don't have Mrs. Jones but I always hang out with her during Reach/Boost or just whenever I'm not busy. Because I like to spend time with this wonderful teacher that has a heart of gold I miss her class so much her rooms smell so good. And so creative and Beautiful. This year my Granny Barbara Kelly Passed away January 27th, 2020 she passed away from pneumonia I texted Mrs.J ones about it. I told her I won't be at school for a few days. I told her to let Mrs. Berry know my 12th-grade teacher. She texted back and said. " I wish there were magic words to say to take away the pain I know your heart feels. I am so sorry!" Wednesday at my Granny's viewing I was very torn it was January 29th,2020 I been crying form grief. During my grannies viewing Mrs.Jones came to my Grannies viewing and the first thing I did was gave her the biggest hug ever because I needed it. I love her so much she just doesn't understand. Before my granny passed away she told me that Mrs.Jones is a gift from God. And I believe that because doesn't matter what day or time. Miracles always know that we need them and Mrs.Jones knew I needed her. I give her gifts a lot because she deserves more for what she has done I couldn't be anymore blessed than I am today. Thank you, Mrs. Jones! love, Brooklyn Kelly
