Student Nomination Story

Miss. Seckel is an 8th grade teacher at Global Impact STEM Academy. She teaches Agriculture and STEM while also being the 8th grade FFA chapter supervisor. During last year I grew an amazing relationship with Miss. Seckel along with a bunch of other students I know who have too. I have been on a FFA trips with Seckel supervising such as 2023 and 2024 national FFA convention, 2023 state FFA convention, Ohio FFA mission conference etc. On these trips I have learned so much from Seckel and grew closer relationships with my friends and even complete strangers that I met. During my 8th grade year is when I got more into FFA. Miss. Seckel inspired me to become more involved, she helped me earn my discovery degree that most got the previous year. I started going to conventions and other events. I became more involved which has put me in the position I am in now. I am running for my 10th grade chapter reporter position and I plan on getting my green hand degree this year. She has inspired me to be more involved and after all she has done for me and helped me and many other students with, I would love to see her getting something I strongly think she deserves. This is why I believe she deserves this nomination.
