Student Nomination Story

Mr. Negley was my favorite elementary school teacher. He made learning fun. I was not the best student in class but he always took us time to help me. He never looked down on me because I was not as smart as some others. Mr. Negley treats all of his students with respect. In his class I felt like I mattered. One of my favorite activities that we did it in his class was to research a college in March. I really enjoyed doing this. I remember I researched Texas! It was so fun. He also made learning fun and enjoyable for everyone. He was always smiling and moved about the room. We didn’t just sit at our desks and do worksheets. My sister had a different teacher for 4th grade. I always tell her she missed out. He really cares about students and wants us to learn. I am about to finish 8th grade. I will go to high school next year. When I think about my favorite teacher from elementary school Mr. Negley is at the top of my list!!
