Student Nomination Story
Our son Liam was lucky enough to be placed in Ms. Biscaglia's class this year. Liam came into his first school year with a tremendous amount of extra energy and a lack of experience in schooling. The year started off very challenging for all of us as Liam's behavior was all across the board on a daily basis. ( we would later find out that he need an IEP) Miss Biscaglia and us ( the parents ) immediately used our open lines of communication to provide Liam with a unified support system. The line of open communication made it easy for us, the parents, to echo at home what was being done in the classroom. Liam would wake up every morning excited to go to school. He would get upset on the weekends when he figured out that there was no class that day. We know that this is because of Ms. Biscaglia and her teaching methods. We as parents knew that Liam was in good hands with Ms. Biscaglia while in that school. Had it not been for Ms. Biscaglia, Liam would not be leaving Pre-k ready for the next level. It is rare to find a teacher that makes such a huge impact on a student and Ms. Biscaglia was that teacher for Liam.
