Student Nomination Story

We would love to nominate Marla Saltzman for this award. We have been lucky enough to have Marla teach both of our kids, and she has been wonderful in every way. She has taught them with patience, kindness, and love and both of our kids have felt so supported by Ms. Saltzman. They feel like they can truly be themselves when they are with her. She is a special teacher who deserves to be celebrated.

My name is Zoey and I would like to nominate Marla Saltzman for winning the $5000 award for being very kind and making learning fun. One time when I was going on a field trip, I was sad because I wasn’t sitting with my two best friends. She made me feel better and let me sit with them. Ms. Saltzman is always smiling and brings joy to the classroom. I feel very lucky that she is my teacher and I hope he gets the $5000 prize.
