Congratulations to
National Teaching Award Nominee
Margie Tully
Phillips Brooks School, Menlo Park, California
Student Nomination Story
Mrs. Tully taught me how to read and spell. She was encouraging to me and sometimes strict. She taught me a lot about the joy of reading, writing, and spelling. I think that all of her students would agree with me. She always has an inviting smile that warms my heart. In reading, we would always love the way she supported us so positively. Mrs. Tully would work hard to solve problems. Mrs. Tully would always be kind no matter what happens. We would sing funny songs to start the day. Her laughter and British accent shine through the classroom. She would really push us to be our best selves.
