This teacher showed me that I had hope and potential. She showed me that no matter how many times I was shot down, I still had value. I remember one day I was walking in the hallway she called me over and said “Have a good day” Now this may not be so much but I did NOT grow up with all “oh so kind” teachers. And I don’t think I will. I Just want to say no matter how tough she was, she had a heart.
