Laura Bardin

In the fall of 2018, Ms. Bardin became the teacher of two of my daughters who were in the grades of kindergarten and fourth grade. This school year my youngest daughter started kindergarten and now Ms. Bardin I has taught all three of my girls! She is great at meeting each child right away with her loving and caring demeanor. Over the summer she made the little one's binders with velcro match games and plastic sleeves where she placed worksheets and puzzles. The girls used dry erase markers, so they could reuse the assignment. When COVID hit, Ms. Bardin had over 50 students. I can only imagine how overwhelming that must have been for her. She overcame! She uses excel for every student's itinerary and manages it every day. She Zooms multiple times a week for classes and just to check on the girls. When my oldest daughter was struggling, she helped me to be more aware of what was going on and gave me resources to help guide me in the right direction. I am honored to have her as my children's teacher. She goes above and beyond to make sure that they are up to pace and when they get stuck on a subject. We can call her anytime and she is always there, with no complaints.
