Congratulations to

National Teaching Award Nominee
Krystal DiMario
Comprehensive Grammar School, Methuen, Massachusetts
Student Nomination Story
My son is 5, Autistic, and has been in Pre-K the last two years with Ms. DiMario. As a single mom and my oldest baby, sending him to school used to be nerve-wracking and had me filled with anxiety. Ms. DiMario was the first person that really melted all of those feelings away and really made such a difference in Declan. He now loves going to school, has progressed SO much, and she never fails to keep me updated, in the loop, or even just sends me a message if she sees Declan is a bit emotional or having a tough day. I even would get fun pictures of my son doing activities and seeing the bright smile on his face made me feel so comforted. This woman is like a Disney princess come to life, gives me hope for the future and has made such an impact on both my sons and my own life. Him graduating from Pre-K yesterday is such a huge benchmark and Ms. DiMario is the definition of supportive, caring, and educational teaching. I wish I had teachers like her growing up!
