Mr. Alvarado changed my life by demonstrating the optimism that we should be living with. His investment in students and lively personality radiated positivity, helping to form the perspective I now live by every day. Although he was a great teacher, he was even better at providing encouragement and support both inside and outside the classroom. For example, my baseball team was amidst a 21 loss season, and he still came out to support and cheer us on. His selfless and uplifting attitude inspired me to act the same way.
