Student Nomination Story
There is not a more dedicated teacher in Howard County, Maryland than Mrs. Robbins. Eleanor spends 12-15 hours a day working with and for her students. She is a special education teacher and the founder of the PVMS Comic book club, which is set up for kids who feel marginalized, forgotten, picked on, and anyone who loves reading and comics. She goes above and beyond everyday for her kids and is constantly working with the students, their parents, and the school for each student's betterment. She’s an advocate for her kids in the best and strongest ways possible. With the Covid pandemic raging, she has devoted even more time to her job. She is currently teaching night school classes to the kids to making sure they feel like the have a place they can feel recognized.

Mrs. Robbins was my favorite teacher. She had fun projects for some of the math exercises and always took the time to listen. I know she truly cared about the students.
