Dena Adams

Dena Adams is a life changing individual. She is one of those teacher that gives everything she has every single day every single year. Both my kids (several years apart) had the blessing of being a part of Mrs. Adams classroom. She was an amazing teacher for my daughter but what she has done for my son I can never repay her for. She recognized a child who had so much to offer but was missing some important pieces. She was patient and kind and encouraged who he was as an individual and fought to give him the help he needed even after years or other teachers writing him off as a difficult child. His world will forever be changed for the better because of her. There is no one else that deserves this award like Dena Adams. She made my boy feel seen and that he had amazing things to offer and in addition to all of that she helped him improve in all areas. The world needs more Dena Adams in it.
