Student Nomination Story
I came in on first day of school, failed first test. Boy, I was so concerned about how I was going pass this course after failing so poorly. I also have severe learning problems and dyslexia, so I had my work cut out for myself. So I was very nervous and worried about telling my teacher about my learning problems. Previous teachers told me, I wasn't Intellectually able to pass but I got myself help I needed to pass the course. That's the thing about it! I never had put up a fight or fuss get any kind if help needed for school. All I had to do is speak up. Mr. Beliveau, he would do everything humanly possible to help each of his students. He made being in school so much easier by being there to listen to what I need. Our other teacher Mr. Gardin is super awesome too! He's so patient with me and my million questions!
