Student Nomination Story
There are lots of teachers that come and go. You may despise some of them or feel like a better person because of them. I'm grateful for a lot of teachers in my life but Mr. Master will forever stand out. He's like a friend, too. That may be weird to some but connecting with people is very important to me. It's definitely a rare experience to have teachers whom you consider life-long friends or mentors. Mr. Master is one of those rare experiences. We both shared a love for the 80s (Especially George Michael) and I remember all the faith he had in me. He believed in me when others didn't. He always complimented my writing and told me to keep going. Ever since I graduated from Middle School, we've kept in contact. He's just a lot more real than most teachers I've had. A lot of them are just teachers. However, Mr. Master is a mentor and friend. He's a great teacher who deserves more recognition, in my opinion.
