Mr. Glidewell makes the band room feel like home. It's the classroom we can let our guard down. We can have real talks. He takes a true interest in each and every one of us. He wants us to succeed in not just band, not just his class but in life. He encourages us like his own children and he is in return our collective dad. Mr Glidewell came to our title 1 high school and got to work. He didn't see us or treat us as less than. He saw the greatness in us and despite a lack of funds and support he guided us to the top. He has fought for us at the district level and led us to a national championship. No lack of resources would get in our way. He showed us how to persevere and still come out on top. He is all in for us and we are in return all in for him.
