Student Nomination Story

I know that Corey is my Dad, but there’s a reason that I am nominating him. I have been around with him in the same school as me and with him throughout all my schooling years. I’ve gotten the chance to notice the impact he has on his students. He teaches (inclusion) so he does a little bit of everything and helps students who really need it. I have seen the smiles and laughter he gets out of his kids and the all the work he puts in into everything. I have never seen a teacher go more above and beyond the standards to make school the best for his students. He has a great relationship with all of the kids even if they aren’t his actual students. Everyone in the school knows who he is and consider him a friend. I believe he deserves teacher of the year for so many reasons other than what I’ve listed.
