Taja Butler

Who is a teacher in my high school career that I think impacted me in a positive manner? The teacher that I feel that made an impact on me in a positive manner is my AVID teacher, Ms. Butler. The reason why I think so is because she has always been very supportive and pushy but always pretty proud at the same time. I think that she is supportive because she makes it seem as if she wants to see a better version of me. To begin with, when I am distracted with friends she reminds me of what I have to do in a way. She is also always ready to help me despite the amount of students she has, she helps every individual that is in need of help, when she helps it's as if she knows exactly what to say to help because it is always very informative and helpful. I think she is pushy in a good way because she is always there to make sure everyone is actually doing their work which I think is great that she does that because most teachers will just not care and let us do whatever. In my opinion she is also very proud of most of her students because at first I was doing horrible in the class until I was told something about it and ever since I started to work harder and she noticed and was surprised and showed an expression of proudness. She is an overall great teacher to anyone.
