Student Nomination Story

Mrs. Strike saved us during COVID when our son had her. She consistently went out of her way to make sure our son (and all the students) felt loved and a sense of conform during a difficult time. She constantly kept the parents informed through pictures, emails, texts and calls. To this day (2 years after our son had her), she still regularly sends us pictures of him from that time and currently. We have never been around a teacher that has inspired more love and care into all the students she teaches and that continues to this day. Additionally, our son had an emergency appendectomy that year and she visited the house, sent care packages and made him feel loved when he came back. Our son still has the bear that was given to him by the class (from Mrs. Strike) which gives him a sense of comfort. We wish she could teach our kids every year!
