Student Nomination Story

Mr Wright has been amazing. This year is my very first year as a high school band parent. I was a bit nervous being able to jungle the band schedule, but Mr Wright is not only an amazing teacher to the students, he has full years schedule online. He keeps us parents updated on the rehearsals, spirit nights, meetings and performances. It’s been a breathe of fresh air to hear my son come home excited to learn about the history of music, and be challenged to learn different styles of music. He even taught my son how to write and play his own jazz solo. If that’s not enough, Mr Wright takes time to meet and speak with the students about their future, how to succeed in life, and to be respectful individuals. I’m grateful for Mr Wright and believe his is very deserving of being honored.
