Student Nomination Story

I choose Mrs. Ellis because I had many times that I wanted to give up on my grades because I was at the point where graduation was not a high chance of happening. Even though the year before I failed all my classes, Mrs. Ellis pushed me to improve and get my work done, she made me feel that there was a chance at graduating. She helped me with classwork ad walked me through many things. She also made sure I was okay mentally, she pays attention to my facial features and my tone and my overall behavior. One big moment was when she took me outside and had a talk with me and I thank her so much for that because at the time i recently discovered that my brother became homeless and just was destroyed by that news.
