Student Nomination Story

Mr.Brookins is the most hardworking person I have ever met, he makes sure that we do our best and makes us become a more outgoing person. There are many things that he does to make me excited to go to class such as learning new music, learning a new skill and meeting new people that inspire me. He lets you know everyday on how good of a work you’re doing and makes sure that you are okay and ready to learn something new. He makes me a better person because I am able to have more talent and be able understand myself, he made me confident in what I do and I try my best everyday and all the time. He always makes sure that I am doing well, he cares about every one of his students he sees more in them than the person does towards themselves.

Mr.Brookings is an amazing teacher in many different ways, he makes sure that we are well and are able to learn new music, new techniques and even makes us laugh with his jokes. He is honestly the best teacher I have ever had, I get excited to go to class because he made me have a passion for music and makes me confident in what I do that I will work hard to do what I do. He makes sure that he cares about me by making sure I’m okay and if I’m not he will sit and listen to what I have to say, he makes me laugh when I am not feeling well and makes sure to check up on me when I am sick. Ever since I had become a student of his he makes sure that I am okay, making me laugh with jokes and making it known that we are all one big family. He supports me not only during school but outside by talking and listening to what I have to say and working out things with the band and my favorite thing about him is that he doesn’t give up on people even if the person is giving up on themselves.

Mr.Brookins really changed my life in multiple different aspects mostly by inspiring me to stay in band with him so he can get me a scholarship and go to college for free.He also taught me how to be responsible for the choices I make and teaching me what I should’ve done instead of what I actually did.He is just a wonderful teacher overall from teaching and actually interacting and engaging with his students.
