Student Nomination Story

Meeting Dr. Britt was one of the greatest, cherishing, and life changing events of my life. She motivates me to keep my head up not just academically, but emotionally and mentally! It was an extremely satisfying and calming thing for me personally because I had a strong support system not just from a teacher, but from a best friend and a mother figure :). Dr. Britt taught me the importance of self-care & priorities in life as it goes on. I was admitted to the hospital and her support was extensive and strong even till this day. There's nothing in the world that can amount to how much I appreciate her through anything. A charismatic intellectual woman with a passion for even the rigorous things is the best guidance I have ever had, and to her, thank you for keeping me on my feet.
