Student Nomination Story

My Name is Tara Craig I moved to Florida in 2014 with my 4 children and the school that we got zoned to was GulfHighlands Elementary under the Principal Mrs.Cosh until she retired 2022 when Mrs.Basinger took over what to amazing women and the whole school is incredible... Thought out the years there's been amazing Teacher's from VPK all the way to 5th grade.... My two boys finished school there I just have my daughter left until my grandson starts in August... Mrs.Sangiamo had my son in 5th grade last year & now she has my daughter in 3rd grade doing Girls on the run... Her love for teaching has had a great in packed on my son that he just made middle school honor roll already this her & wanted to share it with her... My daughter is the only girl in my family & being on color I wanted her to grow up as a strong black woman that can take over the world & this is what I see in Mrs.Sangiamo everyday she's amazing the school and all the kids are you lucky & blessed to have her... I appreciate her and honor her for all she does... It's with great pride love and gratitude that me & my children Jordin,Lloyd and Skylar Craig Honor her today... I also want to say how wonderful & greatful I'm to the whole staff at GulfHighlands Elementary for the excellent job they do everyday...
