Student Nomination Story

I have had several teachers who have been passionate about their subjects but none of them were quite like Mr. Polancich. What I like about his class is that he is a very down to earth teacher and the subject of music allows him to encourage us to pursue things in any way we want. He sees everyone as an equal musician, no matter if they're just starting to get into music or have been playing since they were little. Mr. P does more than teach in the classroom. When he has free time he will come watch the musical theater company perform and is usually one of the loudest people cheering. His attitude about teaching is one of the many things that made me want to become a music teacher after high school myself.
