Emma Rolin
Purcell Public School, Purcell, Oklahoma
Student Nomination Story
I am nominating Emma Rolin for this award because of how much she deeply cares for the success and comfort of her students. I, Hannah Shea, have had Mrs. Rolin in class and graciously learned many lessons from her. Not only did I learn about Biology, but I learned how to be a strong kind woman like her. Mrs. Rolin shows her love for teaching and students in many ways. Ways including building healthy bonds with students and spend hour outside of her work time to help those students. I will never forget the wonderful advice she gave me. I told Mrs. Rolin that I am sensitive and I wish I wasn’t. She told me that being sensitive can be good because it shows how much you care. Mrs. Rolin helped me embrace who I am. She helped me realize that you can see the good in almost everything. Emma Rolin is a teacher that helps kids feel comfortable with who they are. She is a teacher who loves and feels compassion for everyone.
