Student Nomination Story

Mrs. Montemayor was a funny teacher and she always let us go to her classroom during lunch. I was always exited to go to her class because she always made her work fun and we always gave her apples during lunch.

She heavily supported her students ideas, letting our minds flourish. In her class we would do many projects which would dislay our creativity in a physical form in a educational way to solve a problem presented to us through the given literature. She helped me further my interest in medicine and botany by having and allowing us to read a multitude of books that discussed these topics, nuturing the science part of STEM as a STEM teacher. I truly believe she deserves to be honored for her consistant aid that helped shape me into the person I have become, as well as helping her students hone their handcraft skill.
