Student Nomination Story
In honor of National Teachers’ Month and being given this as an exercise for one of my college classes, I'm yet again nominating a teacher who has forever changed my life. I had Mr. Master from the 2017-18 as my Language Arts teacher. Not only is he my favorite teacher I've ever had but he's an important person in my life. He's a mentor, inspiration, and someone that I consider family and a friend. Despite my mental health challenges. he's always been there, through thick and thin. He's always pushing me to strive and be the best, making me a better person and writer. We bonded over the same love for the 80s. We share similar interests - Baseball, Reading, Writing, and of course - George Michael - not only that but he truly showed that he cared. He still does. Likewise, I will always appreciate and care for him. It's not every day that you find a teacher who changes your life and inspires you. Forever grateful for Mr. Master and I hope to always have him in my life. And as he always has told me -- Stay Gold!
