Student Nomination Story

Mrs. Fink is an incredible teacher, plain and simple. Her AP Language and Composition class is among the first AP Classes that not only I, but several of the other students are taking, and she does an incredible job of reducing the intimidation an AP Class can carry, and has created a comfortable classroom environment where, I feel, people can feel more natural being themselves, myself included. Mrs. Fink urges us to think about things from a different angle daily, something which has carried over to other classes positively, and overall she has strengthened our way of thinking. Many teachers have earned awards for one powerful act, however I think Mrs. Fink is deserving of this award for her consistent excellence as an educator. Although I don’t have any delusions of being able to give Mrs. Fink her well deserved award, I wanted to at least give her this, as well as as many letters and nominations from the rest of the students in my class.

Mrs. Fink is an amazing person to have as a teacher! She is quirky and weird but that is what makes her class special. Her creative mind is something I have not seen from many teachers and is very helpful. Although she has stress on her shoulders, she is still upbeat and happy and ready to teach.

My teacher, Mrs. Fink, has been a great source of inspiration, knowledge, creativity, and discipline. She builds each individual student more and more while focusing on the class as a whole. She keeps class interesting through hands on activities and many forms of interactive talks.
