Anyunna Phillips-Heath

Mrs. Phillips-Heath is nothing short of amazing. She has hands down brought my little one out of her shell and helped with controlling her emotions. Through positive thought, positive words and engagement, Mrs. P has turned my daughter into an eager student. Before, she was disinterested in learning and school. She didn’t want to go to school most days during Pre-K. It was a battle. But now, she is excited about school. She is excited to complete homework and she is proud of the new things she is learning. This change was made possible by Mrs. P. She bridges the gap for students by engaging them on their level and making learning new skills fun and exciting. She also, keeps communication with home open. There is never a day that she doesn’t respond to communications I have sent. Also, it is evident in her teaching style that she genuinely enjoys teaching, has a gift for bringing out the best in a student; and most importantly loves each and every student that crosses her door. I am honored to honor Mrs. P.
