Student Nomination Story

Mrs. Harrington taught my leadership class. The main reason I nominated her is because of her care for her student when ever I was having a bad day , she would ask me what was wrong but unlike some of my other teachers I felt she ment it. I remember she always toolde she was " there for me" . Mrs. Harrington connected with her students on a personal level. She understood not only my challenges but the whole classes. Also Mrs. Harrington slowed us the students to get close to her personally that helpede to feel comfortable. She made everyone feel welcome. She told students that " this is a safe place were we can be are self's" . In conclusion Mrs. Harrington helped me to have; kindness, love, compassion, respect and empathy.
