Allison Ackerman

Mrs Ackerman changed my life in that before I met her, I never was excited to pick up a book. She taught me that I can love writing and that I can write poetry. She made me want to be more literate. She is the reason why I write poetry every night now in my memo notes, her encouragement made me feel like I can do something I never thought I could before. Her classroom was my favorite place at school.
