Student Nomination Story

During Covid-19 pandemic, schools were closed. Ms. Hanson immediately arranged for student to conference with her on the internet, spending a large amount of time weekly teaching her class over the internet so they would not fall behind. Not only did she actively teach new concepts to her students, but also went through math problems and their solutions, giving time to individual students that needed help. She also has been available on an as needed basis to help students with concepts they don't understand. She has gone above and beyond for her students, and exemplifies what it means to be an educator.
