Student Nomination Story

I met Mrs. Smith in 7th grade when I tried out for Choral for the first time. I did not make it in but it was fine. I originally hated school with a passion due to the bullying and my anxiety. Mrs. Smith is amazing she makes sure everyone is cared for, everyone has what they need, and she wants to make sure everyone is okay and safe. She helped me gain confidence in myself and learn that I deserve to be able to sing. She also taught me how to sing out. Thanks to her I have met so many new friends and I have a new love for myself and school.
