Student Nomination Story

My daughter really didn’t care for school since she started kindergarten the year that most schools were closed due to the pandemic. We were really worried that this would lay a foundation of a dislike for school but when she started first grade she was back to normal classroom and a wonderful teacher. Our daughter would tell us about her day and her love for her teacher. Ms. Marquez is the best. She is smart, fun, patient, caring and very knowledgeable in education. She communicates well and often and whenever I have a question or concern she gets back to me really fast. She is wonderful. We am so happy that our daughter was with such an amazing teacher following her experience. Now she loves school and we are confident that she will continue to enjoy school.
