Student Nomination Story
My son was so shy and so behind he would not ask to go the bathroom much less for help. If not for her creative methods he would have quietly suffered and fallen more behind. But she just got him. She set up a sign language system with him. So no one knew he needed help, she would sign to him, he would answer back in sign and she would just happen to be by his table. To this day he and her still have a special bond. He buys her, with his own money, presents on Valentine's Day and she never forgets his birthday and has lunch with him on it. She is an amazing person and I will forever be indebted to her. It's hard when your children go off to school, but knowing they are in the care of an amazing, positive role model that truly cares for them eases the sadness of your cchild growing up.
