Student Nomination Story

Miss Ybarra went the extra mile by helping me understand math concepts that were very challenging for me. Miss Ybarra inspired me to keep going to school and she is the reason I am graduating from High School this coming May 22nd 2019. Miss Ybarra abides by the school’s code of ethics and she also made sure to provide the accommodations according to my 504 plan. I learned to love math and turn my failures into success. Miss Ybarra deserves the teacher of the year award because she shows genuine interest in each student alike. Thanks so much! Great teachers make a difference in helping students to graduate!
