Julie Deal

My name is Alyssa Allgaier. I am in 11th grade at Eastern View High School and I would like to nominate Ms. Julie Deal for teacher of the year. The reason I would like to nominate her for this is that she always goes above and beyond for every student to make sure they have an understanding of the task at hand. Instead of just telling students things they need to work on, she explains how they can work on them and helps them understand why what they were doing wasn't quite right. She never fails to make learning fun and enjoyable for every single one of her students. Ms. Deal truly is a one-of-a-kind teacher. She always shows each one of her students that they are important and that they mean something to her. Ms. Deal has to be one of the most influential teachers I've ever had in my entire educational career.
