Student Nomination Story

This isn’t a story about me. This is a story of my son and a teacher who goes beyond her expectations for her students, mine in particular. My son has Autism and currently is enrolled in the Leap program, he has the same teacher for first and second... Miss Gytri. She’s far from a traditional teacher. She explores new techniques and studies That will help her students achieve beyond what anyone could imagine. See, my son struggles with simple tasks in school, handwriting is by far where he struggles the most. Miss Gytri has explored other options in order to help my son and his classmates. I have never had the pleasure of knowing anyone who cares so deeply for her students and wants nothing but to provide the best education she can for them. I hope in the future I have the honor to meet more teachers like her.
