Student Nomination Story

George Hood is much more than a track coach and an avid teacher. He is a friend, mentor, discipliner, support system, also in a way… a true inspiration. Coach Hood has always pushed his students to be the best that they can. He is one of the adults that I truly respect on many levels. He’s never let me fail in life, and I have never felt discouraged by him. Coach Hood has always pushed me to be the best person that I can be in life, and I thank him so much for that. I believe he makes an impact on everyone’s lives whether they realize it or not; he does help a lot of people in many ways. Coach Hood will forever and always be an inspiration my life, and I will always remember the ways that he has helped me. In conclusion, George Hood deserves more recognition than he gets because he makes a huge impact on everyone that he meets. No matter how long ago you met him, you will never forget about George Hood or the lessons he’s taught you. Thank you for everything Coach Hood, I truly thank you.
