Student Nomination Story

Mrs. Hall is a teacher who is hard to describe with just words. In my junior year, Mrs. Hall was my AP English Language and Composition teacher and she had a reputation for being one of the most knowledgeable and interesting teachers. From the moment I met Mrs. Hall, I was intimidated by her aura yet I knew that somehow, it would be an interesting year for me. Before that class, my writing wasn't the best but thanks to Mrs. Hall, I was able to improve my writing skills. But in Mrs. Hall's class, not only did we learn how to write effectively, but she also analyzed literature such as The Great Gatsby and Catcher in the Rye with us. Her reputation precedes her as her analysis truly reflects wisdom. I believe that the Honored award should be rewarded to someone as educational and inspirational as Mrs. Hall.
