Student Nomination Story

As a freshman, I had just failed Algebra 1 and didn't think I could succeed at math. My first day is Mr. Klein's Algebra 1 class he announced that anyone who didn't know how to graph a line would fail that semester. I was terrified, but by the end of the semester everyone in my class could graph a line. Mr. Klein has always taken extra time to help students from staying in at lunch, coming early, or staying after. I am now taking AP Calculus with him, a goal I never thought I'd reach. He continues to make challenges to students and then help them reach them. I don't think I would have ever applied for a statistics program if he hadn't challenged and helped me so much my freshman year.
