Student Nomination Story

Mrs. Deener has impacted me personally and academically. She is an amazing teacher that incorporates many different teaching techniques and makes sure we fully understand the topic. Other than being an amazing teacher, she has impacted me personally. Near the beginning of the year, my dad passed away. Mrs. Deener made sure to show her support to me and my family. She sent us a basket and made sure to support me throughout school. She also knew that my brother and I wanted to go on the BETA trip, so her and another teacher came together and made that happen for us. Mrs. Deener thoroughly deserves this award.
