Student Nomination Story

I was blessed to have met April in 1999 when I was in eighth grade at Readington Middle School, and lucky to have spent the year with her as she was my one on one aide. I couldn't have asked for anyone better or more special. Now, at 36 years old, I still think of April as the most incredible person I have ever met, and I am so lucky that she is still in my life. While she has since moved out of state, we still keep in touch and see each other, and now she is a teacher in Louisiana. While I am not in her classrooms anymore, I know without a shadow of a doubt that other students are being blessed by her love and kindness, and are so lucky to also have her as their teacher. She is incredible.
