Student Nomination Story

Mrs. Amy Edmonson is one of the best teachers I have ever had the honor of having during my entire school career. She is dedicated to helping her students excel, even if it requires staying after school on her own time to help them understand the curriculum. She manages to not only teach Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus AB and BC, but she also is a loving and caring mother. She, upon having all of these awesome responsibilities, owns a business called Poptown which also helps raise money for the sports departments and school. She has motivated me and hundreds of other students to try their hardest and reach for the stars. To follow your dreams and to stand true to your beliefs. While she may only teach Mathematics, she educates us in the ways of life, wisdom, and yes, Mathematics.
