Student Nomination Story

Mr. Maldonado makes everything so fun. He makes great points in class and makes everything sink in. He is also always very determined to get all of his work done.- Allisson As a parent, I noticed my daughter enjoying her Math class in more ways than just academic. Mr. Maldonado focuses on nurturing the whole child and provides his students with frequent positive feedback. His motivation is not just for his students to learn/know math, but he works to develop their appreciation for the process of understanding the subject. Even when a child is incorrect, he encourages them to own their errors and spins the moment as an opportunity to learn.
